'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Keane Supports Tate's Boo Criticisms

Roy Keane has backed Alan Tate's criticisms of fans booing after Saturday's 0-0 draw at home to Ipswich Town.

The Swansea City vice captain hit out after some fans booed off the team last weekend - saying this was 'ridiculous' considering how far we've come as a club.

You can read his thoughts here

Roy Keane said he'd like to swap positions with Swansea City and that fans can quickly become forgetful and impatient.

'You will always get a few moans and groans when there are no goals in a game

The trouble is that football fans forget things very quickly.

You give them a bit of success and they want more straight away. I would like to swap positions with Swansea, but fans forget and they get impatient.

'I think that with the season Swansea are having, they should be very pleased because they're a club making progress.

'They have a great chance of getting into the play-offs and in the play-offs you never know what can happen.

'If you think I am fearful of losing my job, don't kid yourself.

'I have got a good wife and five kids and if the club want to move me on, they will move me on. But speculation doesn't keep me awake at night.

'I am confident that we can have a better season next season, but sometimes you don't get that time.'
