Cardiff Should Be Worried, Not Us Says Sousa

Paulo Sousa reckons it's Cardiff City that should be the team worried about missing out on the play-offs rather than the Swans.

Swansea City are struggling for form recently, as only a few weeks ago a top 6 place was looking a certainty, but now Blackpool are only 5 points behind us in 7th.

Blackpool though have a few tough games coming up. They face an in-form Scunthorpe United side on Friday before facing the team below them in 8th - Doncaster Rovers. After that it's a trip to League leaders Newcastle United before returning to Bloomfield Road to host Nottingham Forest.

Our arch rivals Cardiff City, who we travel to on Saturday have already experienced the misery of missing out on a play-off spot after occupying a top 6 place for so long last season, and with that in mind Sousa says they should be the team worrying, not us:

"I`m not worried,"

"They need to be worried though because this would be the third time for them.

"That`s not the case for us. We are trying to create strong foundations and I believe we can improve a lot more than we have already this season.

"I am not worried about our goal-scoring record either.

"People have been asking me about it all season but we are still in such a good position."

"I don`t question whether or not something negative will happen.

"I have full confidence in my players and confidence in my ideas.

"I want to be, and I will be, in the Premier League. Whether it is with Swansea or another club, I will be.

"We have a big chance for that to happen and we will fight for that."

Very interesting from Sousa--- so he will be in the Premier League with or without us. Seems like he is following that other traitor, Martinez. He is never wrong have you noticed?

Never mind, we may start scoring next season if that's the case !
