Monk: We're Aiming To Catch Teams Above Us

Swansea City captain insists the Swans are aiming to catch the teams above us, rather than just looking to consolidate our play-off place in May.

We currently lie in 4th place, 7 points from 2nd and a comfortable 9 points from 7th place.

Last weekend's defeat at Nottingham Forest was a blow to our bid of reaching 2nd place but Garry Monk still thinks that it's still well within our sights:

'We want to chase the teams above us,'

'You have one eye on the teams behind you but we're focussing on catching the teams above.

'We want to make sure that we win as many games as possible, we've got West Brom on Tuesday but Saturday is the biggest test for us right now.

'Sheffield Wednesday are in a difficult position in the league and that's what makes these games hard. They're scrapping for their lives so we have to be at our best.'
