Sousa Disappointed Yet Again With Ref Decisions

Paulo Sousa says he wants an explanation after yet another poor refereeing decision denied us a penalty during today's 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

The Swansea City boss has been critical about the standard of officials for our games and yet again, we were denied what seemed a certain penalty after Pratley was brought down from behind.

Sousa said:

"People who make mistakes are only human but what concerns me is that it is happening week by week with us.

"The stadium was in shock when we were not awarded the penalty. Everyone could see that it was but we didn`t get what we deserved.

"If the decisions in our games had been the right decisions we would be close to the top of the division by now. It`s happening too often and I hope someone can explain the situation to me.

"We are a team playing well, always looking to win games and gaining respect from the opposition but there is nothing we can do when we receive decisions like the ones we did today.

"But we need to stand up our heads because we need to feel proud."

stop moaning about and get the club to put in formal complaints to the FA, and make the refs give an answer to the mistakes made, each and every club should be doing this until something is done.

I completely agree, not just us but many teams have been on the rough end of a bad decision. I want to see technology used, if only to support the ref, as we have all seen how 2 extras behind the goals actually make things worse.

Further to this if the FA did agree with the fact important decisions were made (which they won't), what would happen... Nothing, that's why these need to be sorted at the time.
