Swansea City Linked With Rochdale Defender

Swansea City have been linked with a move for Rochdale defender Craig Dawson.

And according to the Evening Post, there's speculation that we've also made an enquiry about Bolton Wanderers centre-back Dan Shittu.

There's talk on the Vital Swansea Message Forum today that Garry Monk and Alan Tate didn't train with the squad today, which could mean that we'll need to look at bringing in defensive cover.

Dawson, 19, has scored an impressive 11 goals this season for the League Two leaders and is thought to have attracted the attention of a number of Premier League clubs.

Fellow Championship side Scunthorpe United had a £250,000 bid rejected in the January transfer window.
