Swansea City Reserves Lose At Bristol City

Swansea City Reserves were beaten 3-0 at Bristol City this afternoon, in a behind-closed-doors match.

The hosts named a strong line-up and Nicky Maynard scored a brace to give Bristol City a 2-goal advantage at half time. John Akinde got the third and rounded off the comfortable win on 68 minutes.

The Reserves are next in action next Wednesday, March 10th at 2pm at Swindon Town.

Swansea City: David Cornell; Daniel Alfei, Daniel Sheehan, Joe Walsh, James Burgin, Matty Collins (C), Anthony Finselbach (Kurtis March, 66'), Chad Bond, Craig Beattie (Adam Orme, 66'), Guillem Bauza, Besian Idrizaj.

Not Used: Ben Davies, Matthew Whatley, Jordan Smith.

Bristol City: Collis; Edwards, J.Wilson, Ball; Sproule, Plummer, Artus, Williams, Campbell-Ryce; Akinde, Maynard.

Subs: Bradley, Kington, Lennox, Sayce, Hennessey.
