Swansea City Looking To Sign Danns On Loan

According to today's Evening Post, Swansea City are looking to sign Crystal Palace's Neil Danns on loan as they hope to ease their midfield concerns.

With Darren Pratley, Ferrie Bodde, Joe Allen and Andrea Orlandi all out injured, manager Paulo Sousa is struggling for central midfielders ahead of Saturday's clash away at high-flyers Nottingham Forest.

The Evening Posts understands that the Swans are looking to bring in Danns before Saturday's game at the City Ground.

Danns started his career at Blackburn Rovers before having loan spells at Blackpool, Hartlepool United and Colchester. He later joined Colchester permanently before switching to Birmingham in 2006.

Palace paid the Premiership club 600,000 for his services in 2008 when he sign a 3 and-a-half year contract.

The 27 year-old is a first-teamer at Palace and has scored 6 goals in 30 League appearances this term.

Vital Swansea will bring you more news on the potential signing as soon as we get it.
