Sousa: Derby Are A Different Side Now

Paulo Sousa says Derby County are a different and much improved side from the one that we beat at the Liberty Stadium earlier in the season.

The Swans beat Nigel Clough's side 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium in November thanks to Fede Bessone's superb strike in the final 10 minutes of the match.

Derby County struggled to create a chance on goal that night, but they're a much improved outfit now, and have achieved some impressive results lately, including a 3-0 win at home to leaders Newcastle United.

On Tuesday they beat Preston North End 5-3 and they also ended Nottingham Forest's unbeaten run, beating the promotion-chasing side 1-0.

Derby are now unbeaten in their last 4 games, but they go up against a side who have yet to experience a defeat in 2010.

Sousa said:

'It will be much tougher than it was when we played them at the Liberty,'

'They are a difficult team in this moment, after the winter break they reinforced their team - they are stronger, better organised, more aggressive and show good quality, it will be a great game for both teams.

'But hopefully in the end we can get what we want, and what we prepared for all week, and that's getting the three points.'

Swansea City have dropped 4 points in their last 2 games now, both because we conceded late equalisers in the final few minutes of the games. A win is what we need tomorrow to make up for that.

I totally agree with Sousa here. Derby had no threat at all, and we struggled to break them down but it'll be a totally different game tomorrow. They'll be confident, so will we so it should be an exciting game. I'd take a draw
