Trundle Likely To Stay At Swansea City?

Bristol City striker Lee Trundle looks set to extend his loan spell at Swansea City.

The 33 year-old's loan expires at the end of December and Swansea City manager Paulo Sousa says 'The situation with Lee is done' but it's just a case of 'a question of the two clubs'.

It seems like he wants Trundle to stay on loan for the rest of the season, but the two clubs need to come to an agreement over a new loan deal.

Trundle has continually expressed his keen desire to stay in South Wales this season, and you can see on the pitch that he's been doing his best to impress Sousa, having scored 5 goals already - most of them as a substitute.

Sousa isn't the type of manager to talk about things before they've been finalised, but he did say:

'The situation with Lee is done, now it's a question of the two clubs,'

'The chairman will announce something when he can, but I cannot tell you. I only talk when these things are done.'

He should stay, he's our top score maker, he's helped us out in our darker times, without him we wouldn't be 6th at Xmas. LT has done exactly what he promised he'd do and deserves to be given a contract and a Welsh welcome back.
