Swansea City Reserves Lose 3-0

Swansea City Reserves lost 3-0 against Southampton in last night's totesport.com Combination match.

Marek Saganowski, who was strongly linked with a Summer move to the Swans in the Summer netted a brace and Matthew Paterson also got on the scoresheet.

Reserves boss Colin Pascoe named a strong line-up for the match, fielding a number of senior players including Marcos Painter, Guillem Bauza, Besian Idrizaj and Stephen Dobbie but there were unable to get through the Saints.

Line-up:

David Cornell; Jazz Richards, Daniel Sheehan, Radanfah Abu Bakr, Marcos Painter, Matty Collins, Scott Evans (Casey Thomas, 73'), Chad Bond, Stephen Dobbie, Guillem Bauza, Besian Idrizaj (Lee Lucas, 73').

Not Used: Daniel Alfei, Adam Orme.

losing 3-0 is a concern, especially with the side we had out, couldn't even score with 2 senior strikers playing
