Sousa: 'Our Worst Of The Season'

Swansea City manager Paulo Sousa said he was happy with tonight's victory but disappointed with the performance.

His side struggled to cope with Plymouth Argyle in the early stages as their physical approach to the game frustrated us in the first half.

We changed things to 4-4-2 at the start of the second half, bringing on Lee Trundle and Gorka Pintado and they made an immediate impact, combining for our winning goal after just 7 minutes of the restart.

Sousa told the BBC:

'It is a fantastic result. But we didn't have a very good day. I think it's the worst of the season.

'When we have chances to score we need to score because everything becomes easier.

'When things aren't going well for us we try to change something.'

I thought that all the experimenting was done in the first ten games of the season. A different striker in the 20th game - just didn't work.
