Monk Out For Another 2 Weeks

Monk Out For Another 2 Weeks

Paulo Sousa has some defensive worries for Saturday's game away at Peterborough as Alan Tate and Garry Monk are both sidelined.

Alan Tate picked up his 5th booking of the season at Newcastle United last weekend which means he'll serve a one match ban.

Captain Garry Monk is set to spend another 2 weeks out with an injury after suffering a tear in his calf.

The 30 year-old has been out of action since the Cardiff City game when he suffered the injury during the warm-up beforehand.

With both players out, Spaniard Albert Serran could be given his first start of the season and also his first real chance to impress new boss Paulo Sousa.

Looks like Serran will play on Saturday. Think that we defo need Whitbread in January for more strength in depth!
