60% Fancy Swansea City For Play-Off Place

60% of Vital Swansea readers think that we'll finish in the play-off places this season.

Paulo Sousa's Swans have made a promising and quite remarkable start to the season considering the problems the new manager had to deal with from the start of his reign.

We currently lie in 6th, occupying the final play-off place ahead of Cardiff City who are 7th.

Sousa has managed to continue our attractive style of football and he has also worked wonders with our defence, as they've maintained 10 clean sheets so far this campaign in 18 games.

The Swans are beginning to play some impressive football after an indifferent start and apart from league leaders Newcastle United, no team has really caused us any serious problems. We suffered an awful start to the game, but we showed a huge improvement in the second half and dominated large periods, but we were unable to get past their solid back line.

Sousa is aiming for a top 10 finish this season, and 31% predict a mid-table place next May. 7% predict a top 2 finish, and the remaining 2% (Cardiff fans maybe!?) thinking we'll face a relegation battle. I don't think so.

The striker's loan spell ends on December 31st and there's an option for the club to extend it further. Should we keep him at the club or let him return to Bristol City? Vote now in the poll on the right hand side.

Mid-table would be great, anything else is a bonus IMO with everything that has happened!

i think we need another season or two in this league to be honest,and build the squad up with some more quality then start thinking playoffs next season
