Pratley Looking For Longer Swansea City Deal

Pratley Looking For Longer Swansea City Deal

Swansea City midfielder Darren Pratley has given the club a big boost after he told the official site that he's settled and wants to secure a longer contract.

The former Fulham player is currently leading the votes for the Championship PFA Player of the Month.

The 24 year-old's most impressive performance this season, without a doubt, was in the Cardiff City win nearly 2 weeks ago. Pratley scored two of our goals that day to give us a memorable 3-2 victory over our fierce rivals.

Pratley said:

'I have been at Swansea for three years and I am really settled. I'd like to get a new deal - hopefully scoring the winner against Cardiff will help my cause'

'On a personal note, hopefully the awards will be the first of many this season and, if that happens, it will mean I am probably scoring goals and the team is winning matches.'

In the standings, the 4 players following Pratley are all at Newcastle United:

1. Darren Pratley (Swansea City)
2. Kevin Nolan (Newcastle United)
3. Steve Harper (Newcastle United)
4. Alan Smith (Newcastle United)
5. Andrew Carroll (Newcastle United)
6. Matt Fryatt (Leicester City)
7. Jay Bothroyd (Cardiff City)
