Idrizaj Scores Again As Reserves Win 3-2

Austrian striker Besian Idrizaj scored again for the Reserves side as he helped them beat Nottingham Forest 3-2 this afternoon.

Colin Pascoe's side came back from a 2-goal deficit to win the game.

The home side went in front after just 2 minutes as left back Marcos Painter conceded a penalty after handball. Joel Lynch netted from the spot to give Forest an early lead.

They doubled their advantage 12 minutes later as Forest first teamer Lewis McGugan fired home a superb long-range individual effort from all of 30 yards.

Just before the half hour mark, Idrijaz made it 2-1 after he lifted the ball over the oncoming goalkeeper, before Shaun McCashin conceded an own goal to put the scores level.

Substitute Jordan Prosser got the all-important winning goal in the second half.

Trinidad & Tobago defender Rudanfar Abu Bakr featured as well as Jordi Lopez, Marcos Painter, Stephen Dobbie and Chad Bond.

Line-ups:

FOREST: Smith, Perch, Chambers, McCashin (Beardsley 65), Lynch, McCleary, Darnet, McGugan, Sykes (Elliott 45), Rodney, Mullen (Thompson 74).

SWANSEA: Cornell, Sheehan, Painter, Jerran, Abu-Bakr, Lopez, Marsh (Prosser 74), Dobbie (Finsel-Bach 36), Idrizaj, Lucas (Smith 82), Bond.
