As expected, winger David Cotterill has completed his loan switch from Sheffield United to Swansea City.
The 21 year-old was at the Liberty Stadium last Friday as he watched his new team-mates beat Derby County 1-0 in what was an excellent performance from Paulo Sousa's side.
The Welshman told the Official Site that he was impressed by the football that was on show:
'Swansea are probably the best footballing side in the Championship,''
'But they can also grind out a result as well if they have to.
'I watched them on Friday night against Derby and I was very impressed. Swansea passed it around for fun and Derby didn't get a kick - they murdered them.
'They are playing attractive football at the moment and getting some great results. Hopefully I can fit into that straight away.
'I've moved to Swansea for purely footballing reasons. It was very frustrating at Sheffield because I wasn't playing regularly - and any footballer will tell you there is nothing worst.
'It's a fresh start for me. I went to Wigan and it didn't really work out for me; then I had a great spell on loan at Sheffield United; but since the start of the season I haven't played hardly any games up there.
'I need to play and I like what I hear about Swansea and their ambition. They are in the play-off places at the moment and with the way they are playing, then anything can happen.''
Cotterill will now be available for selection on Saturday when we travel to Newcastle United to face the League leaders.
There has also been speculation that the loan move could be made permanent when the transfer window opens again in January.
Some sources have reported that the two clubs have been discussing a transfer fee.
