'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Swansea Are An Outstanding Football Side'

Scunthorpe United manager Neil Adkins says Swansea City are an outstanding football side ahead of tomorrow's Championship match at Glanford Park.

Adkins have a good record at home and they'll be looking to pick up some more valuable points at their ground.

They beat Newcastle 2-1 recently at Glanford Park and are unbeaten on home soil since August 29th.

Adkins told their Official Site:

'Swansea are an outstanding football side and we are going to have to be on our game from the first whistle,'

'We had the trip to Manchester City in midweek and fully enjoyed the experience, but our aim since the start of the season has always been to finish as high in the table as possible, and that continues on Saturday when we play Saturday.'

'The lads enjoy playing their football here and will have no problem doing so again on Saturday. They enjoy playing on this pitch.

'We were out on it doing a warm down session on Thursday and it's in great condition.

'We're looking forward to a great footballing clash against Swansea.'
