Sousa Targetting Cotterill & Taylor?

The Evening Post is today reporting that Paulo Sousa is following Sheffield United winger David Cotterill and Wrexham left back Neil Taylor.

Cotterill has fallen down the pecking order at Bramall Lane and he's struggling to get a regular run in Kevin Blackwell's first team, making just 3 appearances so far this season.

Taylor, meanwhile, is a highly-rated 20 year-old who is believed to be attracting a number of other Championship clubs.

The Evening Post report that the Swans have watched him a number of times and are considering making an offer to bring the youngster to the Liberty Stadium. His contract expires next Summer.

Despite having enough cover in both positions at the left back, arguably, Sousa is still interested in improving the left side of his team in defence and midfield. Personally, I'd like to see us being linked with another striker or two as we're finding it difficult to score goals still. Beattie can do a decent job, Trundle isn't a 90-minute player for us, Pintado won't score enough goals and Dobbie has been disappointing so far.

a bit of a harsh stetement about dobbie i feel. he has been a bit unfortunate with injuries and the like to be fair. i would like him to have a steady run in the team before we start slating him. as for the two poss signings, i dont think they would be bad signins but, they dont grab your attention really.

i think cotterill would be a great signing. imagine him and dyer on the wings. cant say i've seen taylor play much but heard he's a good young prospect for the future!
