Dyer Wins September Player of the Month Vote

Dyer Wins September Player of the Month Vote

Vital Swansea readers have voted Nathan Dyer as our best performer in September.

The £400,000 signing from Southampton has been in impressive form since making his loan move permanent in June. His pace and skill have caused all sorts of problems to opposition teams this year and again he put in a man of the match last Saturday to help us beat QPR 2-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

He won the vote with 39%, just ahead of goalkeeper Dorus De Vries with 30%. Defender Ashley Williams was 3rd with 11% followed by Lee Trundle 10%.

Nathan Dyer also came second in the August player of the month vote with 27%, behind winner Alan Tate (38%).

Our new poll asks for your opinion on our next game away at strugglers Ipswich Town on October 17th. Can Paulo Sousa's side cause more misery on Roy Keane and extend our unbeaten run to 6 games?

Fully deserved, he's been awesome for us this season, only 1 or 2 games he hasn't been brilliant in a game. he must have got the most man of the match awards so far

He's been superb this season. He ended last season with a poor run of form compared to when he first joined us on loan, but this season he's been one of our best players so far.
