De Vries Named In Team of the Week

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries was named in the Championship Team of the Week after a superb performance on Saturday against QPR.

The Dutch shot-stopper helped us win our second home game in a week after making two superb saves early on in the second half. The opposition looked certain to score but De Vries made two fantastic saves before we scored twice to pick 3 valuable points.

Championship Team of the Week:

Dorus de Vries (Swans), Adam Matthews (Cardiff), Sean St. Ledger (Middlesbrough), Lewin Nyatanga (Bristol City), Bruno Berner (Leicester), Darren Ambrose (Crystal Palace), Sammy Clingan (Coventry), Radoslaw Majewski (Nottm Forest), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Michael Chopra (Cardiff), Rob Hulse (Derby).
