Pratley Praises Youngster Jazz Richards

Darren Pratley thinks Jazz Richards has all the potential to play for Wales in the near future.

The 18 year-old hasn't had a look-in until new manager Paulo Sousa arrived following Roberto Martinez's move to Wigan Athletic in the Summer, and the Portuguese boss showed a keen interest in what all his players had to offer to the team.

Already, he's started 3 League games for the Swans this season both in defence and in midfield, showing his versatility. Confident on the ball, Richards definitely looks like being one to hold onto for the future, like fellow Welshman Joe Allen.

Darren Pratley made a return from a shoulder injury and mumps on Tuesday night and played 30 minutes in the 0-0 draw away at Doncasters Rovers.

'Jazz is better than Darren Pratley, I thought he did well against Doncaster, I thought he was our man-of-the- match,'

'I think he's one for the future, he's one of the fittest at the club.

'Obviously he's getting minutes now and I think he can go on like Shaun MacDonald, Owain Tudur Jones and Joe Allen have done and play for Wales.'

'I'm delighted to be back. I trained on Sunday and then got told I was travelling to Doncaster,'

'I've put on three kilos, I'm still two under, but that's okay really. I've just been eating more protein in the morning, eggs and things like that. It was always going to come back on, it just takes a bit of time. Hopefully I did well enough when I came on and I can carry on this Saturday against QPR.

'I've only trained once in nine weeks, so I need sessions and I need games.'

Paulo Sousa will welcome back Nathan Dyer and Jordi Lopez back into the team for Saturday's home match against QPR after missing out in midweek with a one-match ban.
