Dobbie Looking To Solve Our Lack Of Goals

Stephen Dobbie is looking to return from injury with a bag of goals to help solve our goalscoring problems.

The free transfer from Queen of the South has missed the last few games with a rib injury but he's now available for selection again after coming through a Reserves game yesterday.

A striker has yet to score a League goal for Paulo Sousa's side this season. Ashley Williams has found the net twice and Alan Tate headed home a late equaliser at home to Watford.

Just 3 goals in 8 games is a major problem for Swansea City but hopefully Dobbie can show us some of last season's magic which attracted Martinez to signing him in the Summer.

Dobbie told the Evening Post:

'If the gaffer wants me, I am fit and ready to come back in and hopefully score a lot more goals,'

'The whole reason I got brought here was to score goals and I started okay before the injury. Hopefully I can carry that on now that I'm fit again.

'The boys have been playing some really good football, but it's just a case of us getting that first goal.

'I think when we do that we can get a 2-0 or a 3-0 and then we will push on from there.

'We just have to get that first one and I'm here to help.'

Dobbie is expecting a tough game against the Blades on Saturday, he added:

'I watched their derby win over Wednesday last week and they played pretty well,'

'It will be a tough game for us, but anybody coming to our ground this season will know what we're about.

'If we can just nick that first goal, I think we'll go on from there.'
