Dobbie Starts As Reserves Win 2-0

Striker Stephen Dobbie started for the Reserves team today as they beat Forest Green Rovers 2-0 at the Gnoll.

He has recently returned from a rib injury and played 69 minutes of this afternoon's game - he could give Paulo Sousa a welcome boost on Saturday by returning to first team action.

Austrian youngster Besian Idrizaj scored his fourth Reserves goal to complete the 2-0 victory after Matty Collins' early opener. His return to midfield for this game seemed to do him the world of good as he found the net after just 70 seconds.

Swans: David Cornell; Daniel Sheehan, Radanfah Abu Bakr (Steven Berry, 64'), Ben Adelsbury, Joe Walsh; Matthew Collins (C), Scott Evans, Casey Thomas, Craig Beattie (Kerry Morgan, 46'), Besian Idrizaj, Stephen Dobbie (Chad Bond, 69').

Not Used: Adam Orme.

Forest Green: Tom Pass, Scott Mason, Paul Casey (Samuel Mensah, 46'), Callum Henry, Lee Molyneaux (C) (Jamie Filkins, 74') Jon Else (Enzo Benn, 73'), Anton Agdomar, Luke Buttery, Ben Pugh, Loren Maxwell, Sean Seavill.

Not Used: Jamie Moore (GK).

Bit suprised Beattie played but good win with Idrizaj scoring again!

Glad Dobbie played as well, he should be on the bench on Saturday. Strange decision to play Beattie on the left wing when he's a right-footed striker

Surely Idrizaj has to be given a chance Sat?

Is he good enough and ready to lead the line and play the lone role? I'm not sure.
