Swansea To Offer Contract To Dutch Trialist
According to reports in Holland, Swansea City are set to offer Dutch trialist Dominique Van Dijk a contract.
The winger has impressed during his trial period and he scored in a recent Reserves match at home to Swindon Town, which we drew 1-1.
According to the Evening Post, chairman Huw Jenkins told the player that he'd be offered a deal, but he has heard nothing since, he has now left the club to consider his options.
Matt Moussilio, another trialist at the club along with Van Dijk, has also left the Swans, and there has been no word yet on whether he will be offered a deal. It seems highly unlikely as he didn't feature in the Reserves game, plus manager Paulo Sousa is looking to trim down his squad.
