No Goals Again But Sousa Pleased With Performance

Paulo Sousa was again pleased with his side's performance despite watching them play out another goalless draw.

The Swans dominated large periods of today's match away at Barnsley but we still can't convert dominance and chances into goals.

Sousa said:

'I was very pleased with the performance,'

'I was happy with the attitude and personality of the players as we played our normal game.'

'Technically we are a very good team with goals in the squad.

'When we start scoring I feel that they will start flowing. We have been working a lot in training in the final third and I believe we have the quality to deliver goals.'

'It is not an easy place to come,'

'Especially when you come up against a team with a new manager.

'They are a difficult team to play against, one with a lot of enthusiasm and I am sure that they will do well under Mark (Robins).'

getting tiresome now, Pintado clearly not up to it, we need a good experienced striker to lead the line

De Vries winning all our man of the match awards - im sure even he would prefer a forward player to win it at this point.

The present in form goal scorer is Besian Idrizaj, in the recent reserves game. I would have thought that he would have been worth the last 20 minutes as the players on the field could not score.

i totally agree cyjax the lack of goals is a big concern its all well and good playing attractive football but the bottom line is you can't win games without goals give me route 1 and plenty of goals any day

I can't help but agree with the above comments, we need goals. To talk about playing a team with a new manager, well what about us? Anyway I'm not trying to be negative, but lets nit break last years Draw statistic this season.
