Idrizaj Scores A Hatrick As Reserves Draw 3-3

New signing Besian Idrizaj scored a hatrick for the Swansea City Reserves today as they drew 3-3 at Bristol Rovers.

The Austrian youngster, who also scored a hatrick in a friendly for Liverpool against Wrexham two years ago, showed his goalscoring qualities in a 'behind closed doors' friendly against Bristol Rovers. Lee Trundle also started the game after he missed yesterday's match at home to his current club Bristol City.

The Austrian struck twice in the opening 25 minutes to give us a 2-0 lead at half time, but the home side responded in the second half and put the scores level at 2-2 on 68 minutes.

Idrizaj completed his hatrick on 73 minutes from the penalty spot, but 4 minutes later Booth netted another equaliser for Rovers.

Chad Bond replaced Trundle at the start of the second half and Tom Butler, making a return from injury was also replaced by Kerry Morgan at the restart.

Rovers: Rhys Evans, Dan Cayford, Alex Kite, Steve Elliott, Mark Cooper, Charlie Reece, Charlie Clough, Dominic Blizzard, Ben Swallow, Ben Hunt, Andy Williams.

Subs: Steve Kingdon, Sam Butler, Neikell Plummer, Eliot Richards, Jack McKenna, George Booth, Ollie Clarke.

Swans: David Cornell, Matty Collins, Daniel Sheehan, Radanfah Abu Bakr, Joe Walsh, Ben Adelsbury, Shaun MacDonald, Casey Thomas, Tom Butler, Besian Idrizaj, Lee Trundle.
