Transfer Speculation Frustrates Bodde
Ferrie Bodde said he was frustrated during the Summer with all the speculation in the newspapers linking him with a move away.
There have been plenty of rumours and reports over the last few months suggesting that the Dutch midfielder was leaving Swansea City in the Summer transfer window.
After Bolton failed with a £3.5m bid, former boss Roberto Martinez followed as he attempted to sign him at Wigan Athletic.
Two of his former team-mates, Jason Scotland and Jordi Gomez also tried to persuade him to join them up North - something else that Bodde wasn't happy about.
He told BBC Sport:
'There was a lot in the press... I was not really happy with it - to see your name in the papers every day,'
'People like to say things, then Jordi Gomez is saying things and Jason Scotland is saying things and it looks like I'm saying things.'
Bodde is also in talks about signing a new contract at the Liberty Stadium, he added:
'I can't say a lot about it because we are still talking,'
'First I want to get some minutes on the field and then hopefully we can agree something.
'I'm now ready to start playing. I have targets, still with Swansea.
'I always want to play in the Premier League but I see there's a chance with this team that we can get there also.'
