Swansea City Sign Van Der Gun

Swansea City have finally completed the free transfer of Dutch winger Cedric Van Der Gun.

The 30 year-old has put pen to paper on a 1-year deal with the option of a further 12 months, the Official Site confirms.

Swansea City have been strongly linked with the former Ajax winger for the past 2 weeks and the wait is finally over as he's put pen to paper at the Liberty Stadium.

Van Der Gun watched the Reserves side draw 1-1 against Swindon Reserves yesterday at the Gnoll, suggesting even more that he was set to join us.

He left FC Utrecht in the Summer and turned down a move to Ado Den Haag to seek a new challenge in the English Football League.

WOW Exciting times. We're spoilt for choice all of a sudden :) Mark Gower better get his act together in front of goal soon or he might get put on the bench.

Well done the board and also to Ferrie and Dorus who sold the club to him. Very excited, can't wait to see him play. Play offs anyone?
