Tate Wins August Player of the Month Vote

Readers of Vital Swansea have voted Alan Tate as their August Player of the Month.

The versatile defender has played in every League game so far at both centre back and left back.

Tate, who has recently signed a new 4-year contract with the club, received 37% of the vote, ahead of second-placed Nathan Dyer with 27%.

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries came third with 20%.

In our new poll, we ask you for you predictions for Saturday's result away at Preston North End. Can Swansea City get their second League win of the season at Deepdale?

Vote now on the right hand side.
