Bodde Ready To Make Swansea City Return

Ferrie Bodde says he's hoping to make a return for the Reserves tomorrow when they face Swindon at the Gnoll.

The Dutch midfielder has been out of action since November after suffering a knee ligament injury, but he could line up alongside trialists Dominique van Dijk and Matt Moussilou in tomorrow's match at 2pm.

Despite being out of action for so long, the 27 year-old was still the subject of rejected bids from Premiership sides Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic.

After speculation about his ended at the end of August - when the transfer window closed, Bodde can now concentrate on helping the Swans rise up the table as he moves closer to first team action.

He told the Official Site:

'I'm feeling really good at the moment,'

'I have been training for the last three weeks so I'll hopefully get some action for the reserves in midweek.

'It will feel good to play football again and hopefully I'm not too far from a first-team return.'

'You always try to be involved as an injured player, which is hard,'

'But fortunately at Swansea City I have always been involved which has helped me a lot.'

i think it could still be a few week's before we see him challenging for a starting place imo. you should'nt rush players back after serious injurys, but its nice to see him back and i hope he can recapture the form hes had for the club over the last few years. Welcome back Ferrie.
