Van Der Gun Offered Swansea City Contract

Speculation as to whether Cedric Van Der Gun is going to be playing his trade with the Swans has been rife today. With the Daily Mail and The Mirror both claiming that the Dutch striker has signed a contract with the club.

The bbc are reporting that Van Der Gun has been offered a contract by the club but say the deal is not yet complete.

The Swans do face some competition for the signature of the 30 year old with clubs all over Europe looking to land the experienced frontman, but it is thought that he would opt for a move to a club in the English leagues over any other.

With now three sources claiming that a deal is close, Van Der Gun could soon be playing his football at the Liberty Stadium.
