New Signing Can't Wait To Get Going

Swansea City's latest signing, defender Adanfah Abu Bakr says he can't wait to get his chance to impress manager Paulo Sousa.

The tall Trinidad and Tobago international has signed a 3-month deal with Swansea City but the 22 year-old says he wants to earn himself a longer contract with the club.

Bakr said:

'I am absolutely ecstatic to get my chance here, and I can't wait to get going,'

'The move happened quite quickly but I'm really looking forward to the challenge.

'I have been at the club on two separate occasions on trial, the first back in 2007 and again last season.

'After spending another week here earlier in the year, and after playing in a reserve game against Plymouth, Roberto did express an interest in signing me but then he left.

'But this time I hope that I can impress over the next three months and land myself a longer deal.'
