Sousa: Trundle and Beattie Can Play Together

Paulo Sousa praised Trundle's involvement in yesterday's 1-1 draw against Watford and he believes he can form a good partnership with Craig Beattie.

The fans' favourite came on as a late substitute to play just behind Beattie and we looked more threatening on goal as we looked for an equaliser - which we eventually got thanks to Tate's late header.

Sousa told Wales Online that he's confident both players can play together and score goals:

"Lee was a legend here and I see no reason why he cannot get us goals here again,"

"He brings a lot of enthusiasm. He is very strong in and around the box and we believe in these difficult moments he can help us.

"It`s not just to bring the fans to the stadium he needs to do something while he is here with us. He has not played so much recently and it is going to take time.

"But he had a chance to score in this game. He made the right decision to try and head it, but it just went wide.

"Craig is used to playing with another striker so it will take him time to adapt to our style of play. I believe he and Lee can play together and that is something we will use."

Will be interesting to see who he plays up front when we get dobbie back and our centre mids? I think he may play 4-5-1.
