Swansea City Set To Miss Out On Webber

Swansea City look set to miss out on signing striker Danny Webber, as he looks set to join Middlesbrough within the next few days.

Paulo Sousa has been keen to add a striker to his squad for a number of weeks and the former Sheffield United frontman was one of a number of the targets for the Swans boss.

Webber is expected to join Gareth Southgate's side and sign a 3-year contract at the Riverside.

Swansea City are in desperate need for a striker after losing both our forwards in Tuesday's cup defeat. Pintado is suspended after picking up a second booking in the game while Dobbie is currently struggling with a rib injury.
