Swansea City Target Wes Hoolahan

Swansea City Target Wes Hoolahan

Swansea City are believed to be targeting Norwich City midfielder Wes Hoolahan, according to today's Evening Post and Western Mail.

The former Blackpool player has already visited the Liberty Stadium for talks about a possible move from the Canaries.

He joined the League One club last Summer in a deal worth around £250,000 to the Seasiders.

"I'd be happy if he signed for us"
Swansea City have been linked with a number of players over the last few weeks but we're still struggling to sign them due to their high wage demands.

However, both Huw Jenkins and Paulo Sousa are confident that signings will be made before the end of the month and they're hopeful that we'll bring 2-3 new players. The manager has looked at players in each outfield position- defenders, midfielders and strikers.

Former Sheffield United striker Danny Webber is considering his options and is mulling over a possible switch to us. We've also been linked with a £350,000 bid for Leyton Orient defender Tamika Mkandawire. Millwall's Zak Whitbread was also a reported target but a move for the American to the Swans is looking unlikely.
