Sousa Fed Up With Bodde Speculation

Swansea City boss Paulo Sousa says he's getting tired with the ongoing speculation linking Ferrie Bodde with a move to Wigan Athletic.

The Dutch midfielder's future at the Liberty Stadium has been in doubt all Summer with Bolton showing a keen interest for the past few months, but they failed with a 3.5m bid.

Roberto Martinez at Wigan has now followed but according to chairman Huw Jenkins, their bid 'didn't even constitute an offer.'

Sousa has to deal with the press regarding Bodde far too many times for his liking, and already he's getting fed up with it, he told Wales Online:

"There is nothing more.

"It`s a story that has been since I arrived and already I am tired of saying the same things.

"He is a player who has a contract with us, who feels part of us, who is very happy.

"When these kind of things happen it will of course cause confusion for him, but I hope the media doesn`t destabilise the work that has been done over the last few weeks because we see him very happy and confident about coming back to help us achieve success."
