Dyer Man Of The Match vs Middlesbrough

Nathan Dyer wins the fans' man of the match vote for Saturday's home game against Middlesbrough.

The pacey right winger won 50% of the votes with Leon Britton, who made his 300th appearance on the weekend, in second place with 24%.

Dyer has proved to be a superb signing for £400,000 after he completed his loan move in June.

He was a contender for man of the match away at Leicester last week and he put in another solid performance in the 3-0 defeat against Gareth Southgate's side.

In our new poll, we'd like to know how many signings you think Paulo Sousa needs to make to strengthen the squad.

You can vote now on the right hand side.

Fully deserved, he and Dyer the only ones who played well

I thought Dobbie played very well IMHO, considering his former club didn't use this system. Was unlucky not to score and unselfishly set up a couple of others with some neat interplay. Hope he scores on Tuesday and I hope MacDonald carries on improving. I feel sorry for him, such a young lad being forced to take on such a responsibility. Everyone, get behind him and the rest of the team !!!!!

Usually in a game one person in a team will have an off day. In this game there were too many. The poll is spot on with Dyer top and followed by Britton.
