The Fans' View: Swansea Line Up Vs Leicester

The Fans' View: Swansea Line Up Vs Leicester

We asked the fans in the Message Forum for their views on what our starting 11 should be at Leicester tomorrow.

Below is the chosen 11 from the majority of our members:

Dorus De Vries

Angel Rangel - Garry Monk - Ashley Williams - Alan Tate

Nathan Dyer - Leon Britton - Jordi Lopez - Joe Allen - Mark Gower

Gorka Pintado

Vital Swansea Views: Jordi Lopez is a doubt as he hasn't featured too often in the Summer since joining us last month. He's likely to be on the bench and Shaun MacDonald is favourite to start.

if im honest i would have liked to have seen a new keeper in for the new season because DE vries is to much of a liability for my liking, because he will be tested against fryatt tomorrow big time. apart from that ive got no problem with that squad.

I think Lopez will be on the bench and Macdonald to play as aid to the striker. The Liberty friendlies had Bauza and Orlandi playing in this position, but didn't do well enough. The rest of the team, in fitness terms, picks itself.

Looks a good line-up but do we need 4-5-1? I think we can try something else. Or is that just an example...

I think Lopez has got to start today even if he's not 100%, he can weather the storm and then maybe bring Macdonald on later.
