Sousa: Every Player In Contention For Leicester

Swansea City manager Paulo Sousa says every player in the squad is in contention for playing at Leicester in the opening game of the season, but he stays they still need to prove themselves this week.

The 38 year-old boss has 2 more games to look at his players in action before the season starts in 8 days time. Kilmarnock visit the Liberty Stadium tomorrow (Saturday, 3pm) before we travel to Port Talbot the following day (Sunday, 5:30pm).

Paulo Sousa is now urging his players to prove themselves in training and in these 2 games, he told Swans Player:

'When you have the possibility to train and play in these games you have the possibility to prove yourself,'

'My ideas of what side I pick for Leicester are clearer following the time I have spent with the players, but I won't be making any final decisions on a team until next week.

'I don't have one team, I have a squad and each and every single player will be fighting for a place in the team.'

Tickets for the Kilmarnock game at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday 1st August are priced £10 adults and £5 concessions.

Tickets for the Port Talbot match are £6 adults, £4 concessions.
