Swansea To Offer Kids Free Match Tickets

Swansea City are looking to boost attendances at the Liberty Stadium next season by giving away up to 1,000 free tickets to school children in the area.

The club are working together with the Evening Post to give away tickets for the South Family Stand to give Paulo Sousa's side a boost in the Championship next year.

Primary schools that take up the offer will have the opportunity to raise substantial funds for their school via subsidised adult tickets and exclusive signed merchandise.

Blanche Sainsbury, managing director of South West Wales Media, told the Evening Post:

'In this difficult economic climate we want to encourage the community to support their local team. I believe the joint working partnership will benefit the club enormously in helping to attract families to the stadium.'

The free tickets will be allocated to the schools on a first come, first served basis. Priority will be given to those who are already registered for the Football in the Community's popular Score scheme.

Schools can register their interest by email at l.merrells@swanseacityfc.co.uk, giving full contact details. The club's representative will then contact you with further details of the initiative and to answer any queries.

Another excellent incentive by the club to attract young fans at the Liberty Stadium for what we hope is another superb season in the Coca Cola Championship.
