Bodde To Be Fined 2 Weeks Wages

According to the Daily Mail, Ferrie Bodde will be fined two weeks wages after failing to turn up for pre-season training on Monday.

The Dutch midfielder was not expected to turn up for the training session as he is still recovering from a knee injury in his native Holland. But new boss Paulo Sousa requested he joined up with the rest of the squad for talks.

Bodde has expressed his desire to leave Swansea City to play at a higher level with Bolton recently having a £2.5m bid rejected.

The Mail Online are reporting that Swansea City will punish Bodde for his no-show by not paying him wages for the next 2 weeks.

Swans fans have been left angered by his attitude and his lack of commitment to the club.

We'd like to hear your views on the Bodde situation. What's your opinion on Ferrie's failure to turn up for pre-season training? Have your say on the Message Forum

Good, be thankfull he doesn't play rugby, Ospreys would have done him harder, let if he did that in the Premership.
