Could Sousa's Assistant Be Oliveira?

Huw Jenkins has told News of the World that Paulo Sousa is bringing in a Spaniard and a Portugese to work with him at the club, could one of them be Bruno Oliveira?

The 30 year-old worked with Sousa at QPR, joining him at Loftus Road in November before having his contract terminated in April when Sousa was sacked.

Sousa said about Oliveira's appointment at QPR in November 2008:

'Bruno has great knowledge of the game and we have both been working towards this moment for a number of years.

'He is a great student of the game, has some fantastic, unique ideas and will be a valuable addition to the impressive team we have in place.'


Paulo Sousa is expected to sign a 3-year deal with Swansea City tomorrow.

Oliveira has a good coaching pedigree as well, take a look at the squad section of Vital QPR - he has had some interesting clubs on his CV!

Let's hope so. But whoever comes in has to be prepared to dig in and stick with the Swans. Stability will be the key.
