Scotland's Agent Expects Plenty Of Interest

Scotland's Agent Expects Plenty Of Interest

Jason Scotland's agent Mike Berry says he expects plenty of interest in his client this Summer.

He told Setanta Sports that he knows how highly Roberto Martinez rates him and says he wouldn't be surprised if he made a bid for him to sign him at Wigan.

Another admirer of the striker is Burnley boss Owen Coyle who may also be interested in making a bid for Jason in the Summer transfer window.

Berry said:

"I`ve heard nothing official but I wouldn`t be at all surprised if Roberto came in for Jason because he has had him before,"

"I know that Roberto rates Jason very, very highly and thinks that he can play at the highest level so it`s a case of 'watch this space` really.

"The other interesting one is Owen Coyle at Burnley who I know is very, very interested in Jason having had him before at St Johnstone. Once again, it`s a case of watch this space."

I don't really believe Wigan (Whelan) would be keen to splash the cash on 30yrs-old striker without any experience from the top level football like the Premiership one. Our valuation would be surely 1M plus and I don't think Wigan are in position to spend this money on such players.
