Hughes: Swansea Job Would Interest Me

Falkirk boss John Hughes says he would be interested in the Swansea job if he was approached to take over at the Liberty Stadium.

The 44 year-old was a former player and played for the Swans at the Vetch Field in 1989.

Hughes has told BBC Sport that although he's not a quitter, he's considering his future and will consider a move if he is approached for a job.

He also told the Evening Post that he's flattered being linked with the Swans job:

"I have heard the speculation and it's very flattering. Until there has been an official approach I can't really say too much, but one thing I will say is that I absolutely loved my time down there. I enjoyed meeting the people and I loved the city."

'I know the club has changed a fair bit since the old Vetch Field days, but it's a job that would certainly interest me if an approach was made.'

The Bookmakers have John Hughes has favourite at 3/1 followed by Chris Coleman and Gary Speed at 5/1.
