Dyer Looks Set For Swansea Move
The Southern Daily Echo is today reporting that Nathan Dyer is expected to complete a permanent move to Swansea City.
Southampton are struggling financially and are looking for much-needed funds to pay this month's wages, and Dyer's £200,000 sale to the Swans could help that.
The Daily Echo believe that Swansea City will pay £200,000 and a further £200,000 to be paid at a set date. Other add-ons to benefit Southampton are a sell-on clause and bonus payments based on appearances etc.
The deal was agreed several days ago but the Saints are waiting for Swansea to put pen to paper and to pay the £200,000 fee.
Southampton boss Mark Wotte said:
"Nathan is an academy player who had his difficulties at Southampton but because of his speed and his technique he can be a valuable player in the future.
"We reached an agreement with Swansea which everybody was happy with and so wish him all the best.'
