Swindon Urged To Make Move For Tudur-Jones
Owain Tudur-Jones' agent has urged Swindon Town to offer a permanent contract to the Welsh midfielder.
The 24 year-old has been offered a new contract with Swansea City but he is undecided where his future lies due to a lack of first team opportunities at the Liberty Stadium.
The former Bangor player has been called up a few times to John Toshack's senior Wales squad and he understands his international career won't progress unless he's playing, and that's not happening with the Swans.
Fellow Championship clubs Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday are also interested in the midfielder. His agent, Dean Sheehan has urged Swindon to make him an offer so they don't miss their opportunity in signing him.
Tudur-Jones spent the last few months of last season on loan at Swindon and made 11 appearances, scoring 1 goal.
Sheehan told the Swindon Advertiser:
"There`s lots of expressions of interest at the moment and I know Danny`s a fan,"
"If Danny`s interested then let`s hear what you`ve got to say because he had a great time there.
"Danny has said, 'bear us in mind`. It`s not an option he would turn down immediately, but we need to have a firm offer."
"I think the most important thing for Owain is that he`s got to play,"
"He really found his feet towards the end (of the season) which was exactly what we were after.
"For one reason or another his opportunities at Swansea were limited, we don`t want another year like last year."
