Birmingham's Coyle To Replace De Vries?

Today's Daily Mirror are reporting that Swansea City are keen to sign Birmingham goalkeeper Colin Doyle on loan.

Following their promotion to the Premiership this season, Blues boss Alex McLeish is willing to loan out Doyle in order to sign Manchester City's Joe Hart on 1million season-long loan.

With Dorus De Vries looking likely to leave the club when his contract expires next month, the Swans need to replace the Dutch shot-stopper and the newspaper believe that the Swans are keen to bring Colin Doyle here on loan for next season.

Doyle is a tall 6ft 5' keeper who joined Birmingham as a 16 year-old. He's a backup keeper to Maik Taylor and made just 4 appearances this season, conceding 3 goals.
