De Vries Set To Leave Swansea City

Goalkeeper Dorus De Vries is set to leave Swansea City after rejecting a new 2-year contract.

The Dutchman's current deal expires next month and talks to keep him in South Wales have been on-going for the last 6 months.

The Evening Post report that the Swans thought they had agreed on a contract extension last week and gave De Vries seven days to put pen to paper.

That deadline has passed and the club has refused the players' request for more time to consider his options.

It looks highly unlikely now that De Vries will stay with Swansea City and he is already being linked with a move to a Turkish club.
