Lawrence Keen To Stay At Crewe
Dennis Lawrence is keen to stay at Crewe Alexandra permanently, says his agent Mike Berry.
The centre back was recently released by Swansea City having spent 6 months on loan with the relegated League One club.
The Trinidad and Tobago defender was a regular in the Swansea defence in their 2007/08 League One title-winning season but he wasn't in Martinez's team plans for the following year in the Championship.
Mike Berry said:
'Crewe have been in contact to have a chat and Dennis is very keen to join the club because he enjoyed his time there.
'We talked about a contract and they said they would come back to us within the next week.'
'I would say Crewe have first refusal on him. The ball is now in their court.'
6 other out of contract players at Swansea City are waiting to see where their future lies - Owain Tudur-Jones, Kristian O'Leary, Andrea Orlandi, Matty Collins and Dorus De Vries.
