Swansea Targetting Winger Mikoliunas

Swansea Targetting Winger Mikoliunas

According to reports, Swansea City are targetting a move for former Hearts winger and Lithuania international Saulius Mikoliunas.

The 25 year-old is currently a free agent after leaving Hearts last week. In December 2008, he expressed his desire to leave the club to take a new challenge elsewhere.

He spent 5 years with the Scottish Premier League side, making 102 appearances and scoring 11 goals.

IMScouting are reporting that Salius Mikoliunas is a target for the Swans. 'Miko' is a right winger but he can also play on the left. He has been criticised during his spell at Hearts for being too inconsistent.

Have a look at the Hearts Vital Site and the article entitled "'Miko' And 'Chesney' Leave Hearts Under A Cloud". Not a very good testimonial for the player linked with joining us.
